Firefighter advocates are comprised of EMT’s, Paramedics and Firefighters who have agreed to volunteer their time to help those families within the community who have suffered a traumatic event that has created a undue hardship on the family. The advocate will have a knowledge of the community resources that are available within their community and relay this information to the family when needed. Dependent upon each organizations policy and procedures the advocate will contact families when deemed appropriate by the Fire Chief to offer the assistance available through A Childs Path Back, Community Connection and the local fire fighter advocate.
